Refund & Returns Policy

Zambezi Biltong sells food: air-dried beef biltong. For food-safety reasons, we do not accept returns of opened or unopened food products for change of mind, taste preference, or unused product.

What we stand behind

We want every order to arrive fresh, complete, and as described. If something is wrong with your order, contact us and we will make it right.

Eligible for a replacement or refund

Contact us within 7 days of delivery if:

  • Your package arrived damaged
  • The product was spoiled on arrival
  • You received the wrong product or the wrong quantity
  • An item is missing from your order

A photo is required for every claim. Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the issue (package exterior, shipping label, and the product)
  • A short description of what happened

How to start a claim

Email info@zambezibiltong.com or call 612-314-3773. Please do not send product back unless we ask you to; food returned without our authorization cannot be accepted. Because we do not accept returns, there is no return shipping cost to you.

What happens next

  • We review your message and photos and reply as quickly as we can.
  • If your claim is approved, we will send a replacement or refund you to your original payment method.
  • Refunds post according to your bank or card issuer's timelines and may take a few additional business days to appear.

Not eligible for a return or refund

  • Change of mind, unused product, or ordering too much
  • Opened packages (except when reporting damage or spoilage as described above)
  • Products stored or handled against the package instructions after delivery
  • Claims made more than 7 days after delivery

Sale and promotional items have the same protection: we still fix damaged, spoiled, missing, or incorrect orders.

Subscriptions

Subscribe & Save orders follow the same food-safety rules. You can pause or cancel future shipments at any time through your subscription account or by contacting us. Pausing or canceling does not create a return right for shipments already delivered.

Wholesale and retail-partner orders are covered under separate wholesale terms. Contact us for partner issues.
